RADAR -  Connecting Europe, Venice Biennale 2003

For the RADAR Project, 30 artists from 6 European countries were invited to spend three months in Venice working with local people on a series of digital projects focussing on social inclusion. The results of the project, sponsored by the European Union and funded by the Culture 2000 rubric were exhibited as one of the 50+ Pavilions of the 50th Venice Biennale, in the Centro Civico, Giudecca in June 2003, the Deptford X, London (2004), Galeria Pryzmat, Cracow (2004), and Telecom Italia Future Centre, Venice (2004).

Moorland Productions worked on 25 sound, digital print, film and photographic projects, five of which were exhibited at the Biennale. A new set of digital prints and film "Rynek" was made for Cracow (2004) and a selection of the films was shown at the Telecom Italia Future Centre in Venice in 2004. Selections from the exhibition toured to Tainan (2007), Bradford and Brno (2006) and Brazil (2023).  One film, "Miracle" was selected by the One Minutes Foundation, Amsterdam for the Beijing Olympics (2008) and toured to the Stedelijk and 30 other Dutch Museums followed by a world tour.

The mentors for this project were Joseph Kosuth, Rirkrit Tiravanija and Olafur Eliasson.
