From the series of work entitled "Absences" (2002) which explores the Highland Clearances, an ethnic-cleansing of native peasant farmers in Scotland in the 19th-century to make way for (more profitable) sheep-farming. The exhibition included digital prints and a CD sound-track (catalogue available here) and was the first sound installation in the Czech Republic. This print shows the displaced peasant women washing their clothes in the sea.
